Is Jesus confused? Do Not Bear False Witness “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.” (Exodus 20:16) Click image above to watch video  PLEASE SHARE Ninth Love Commandment = Truth The 9th love commandment is about the sin of “lying” — written in God’s Word as “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor”.  Like most of God’s 10LC, it was given in the negative form Thou shalt NOT, but remember each commandment has its positive side too, which needs to be observed in order for the commandment to be fully obeyed.  And the 9th love commandment’s positive notion is “Thou SHALL speak the truth”.  With that being said, let’s dig deeper into the meaning behind this love commandment.

Do Not Steal “Thou shalt not steal” (Exodus 20:15) Click image above to watch video  PLEASE SHARE Eighth Love Commandment is Weighty The 8th love commandment simply states … thou shalt not steal.  But these few words carry incredible weight, for there is MUCH MORE behind obeying this commandment than simply not stealing some physical object from someone.  And again, as with the other commandments, God sent Jesus with the words to fully expound on this commandment.  So let’s investigate.

Do Not Commit Adultery “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” (Exodus 20:14) Click image above to watch video  PLEASE SHARE The Sex Commandment The 7th love commandment could rightly be nicknamed the “sex commandment” for the Bible reveals every form of sex (even in the mind) is the sin of adultery, except that between a man and a woman who have entered into a marriage covenant.  Therefore, pornography, masturbation, fornication, prostitution, rape, homosexuality, lesbianism, beastiality, and adultery are all sexual sins (which means they are non-loving deeds).  Now as we investigate this commandment, it will become evident again that it is just a person’s pride (self-indulgence) that fuels all sexual sin.  Let’s take a look.

Have No Other Gods “Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3) Click image above to watch video  PLEASE SHARE First Love Commandment is King The 1st love commandment is the king-daddy commandment of God’s 10 Love Commandments (10LC).  When a person decides to NOT keep this commandment in his/her life it is like pushing over the first domino in a long line of sin dominos, meaning disobedience to God’s other 9 love commandments (or more willful sin) will quickly follow suit. In fact, if a person is willfully disobeying ANY of God’s other 9 love commandments, they are simultaneously and automatically disobeying this one!  This was the first commandment Lucifer (the original sinner) decided to ignore (disobey) enroute to his sins of lying to and murdering mankind’s souls.  Let’s examine this commandment closer.
