Not focusing on mortal things, working for God, and all for God (with gratitude, happiness, peace, the Holy Spirit enables us! Not our own strength). Because God deserves to be worshiped, praised, and not in vain we do all for God. Because He is the God who gives reward. He is a just, faithful, and good God. He is perfect, only He.
His grace is sufficient! Jesus is the only source of true happiness, if we have been born again in Jesus, we can feel Him in us, in our actions, behavior, our lives reflect His character, love and goodness.
The Lord Jesus is coming soon, He comes like a thief, at unexpected times, always be on guard!
Our wealth comes from God, is used with responsibility and becomes a blessing to others. Likewise the time of our life is used for spiritual preparation when Jesus comes, and will be accounted for later.
Do not rely on mortal treasures so that we ourselves do not perish.
Do not rely on humans or yourself.
Don't hope for humans because they are just a long as breaths.
Even in this world God does not promise a good life! But! He promises us a helper to remain doers of the word in this world, namely the Holy Spirit. He promised not to remember our mistakes, after we believe in Jesus Christ and repent. He promised not to leave us and never let us! Amen! God is good!
So stay faithful in adversity! Try to glorify God in every test, and believe that everything will be beautiful in God's time!
It is in tribulation that God shapes us, like a potter shapes a clay.
God's Word tells about the glory of Jesus Christ not self-glory.
The closer we are to Jesus the less mortal things become! Seriously, I've experienced it!
Yes, I feel, how the Lord Jesus is greater than worldly things, it is better to do charity than to compete for the richest. All blessings are also from God. After all, there will be time for us to get our share in Heaven! Amen.
Conclusion
We must fight during this life to know Jesus, always do His commands, relate to Him, until we are called back or Jesus returns. And in the end we live forever with Him. Truly extraordinary!
Choose character over popularity
Choose spirituality over carnality.
Keep in mind, don't come to God just asking, come with a longing to be in a relationship with Him! Like He longs to be in a relationship with us.
And do we need to reflect on the core of our joy because of God's blessing or God's character?
Rejoice and fall in love with God's perfect and good character, so when we fail in this world we don't grumble at Him, but state our requests through unceasing prayer, if it is according to His will, He will surely give it to us. And He is God who longs to help us, also remember to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, then all of things will be added to you.

2 Corinthians 4:18 for we do not look at what is seen, but at what is unseen, because what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
