my responsibility

 Your responsibility is to forgive and love your dad. It doesn’t matter what his reaction or decisions are. Forgive means you will not seek revenge, but leave your father’s discipline up to God. Does that mean what he did was OK? No, no, and no. It means that God will judge him, not you. Love means to intend good, not warm fuzzy feelings. You will not intend to hurt him or cheat him. God allowed Satan to persecute Job, within certain limits. Job never knew why he had all his troubles, but God had his purposes.


You do not have to live with your dad. A job and a place to live might help you emotionally. Don’t worry about whether you will ever marry. It’s too soon to be concerned about that. Pray about a job and a place to live first. I think some confidence and independence would help you. I think you are more intelligent and competent than you give yourself credit for.

Are the headaches new? It could be from stress over your living situation and choosing what to do next.

Heavenly Father, please help Dini to feel better. Help her to relax and trust You for the situations she faces each day. Open the door for her to find a good job and a place to live. Grant her the confidence she needs to move forward. Bless her life with a good friend. Amen
