Joseph slavery

Joseph was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers for 20 pieces of silver to 

Midianite/Ishmaelite traders. The traders took him to Egypt, where he was sold again to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and captain of the guard. This event is chronicled in Genesis 37.
