Moses Step Mother ?
Moses's parents were Amram (father) and Jochebed (mother), both Levites, who defied Pharaoh's decree to kill Hebrew baby boys by hiding Moses in an ark in the Nile, leading to his adoption by Pharaoh's daughter, according to biblical accounts in Exodus. They were praised for their faith and also had a daughter, Miriam, and another son, Aaron.
- Father: Amram, a Levite.
- Mother: Jochebed, also a Levite, and his father's sister, making her his great-aunt as well.
- Siblings: Aaron and Miriam.
- Adoptive Mother: The Pharaoh's daughter
- “The sons of Ezrah: Jether, Mered, Epher and Jalon. One of Mered’s wives gave birth to Miriam, Shammai and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa. (His wife from the tribe of Judah gave birth to Jered the father of Gedor, Heber the father of Soko, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah.) These were the children of Pharaoh’s daughter Bithiah, whom Mered had married.”
