Allah is the Truth Jesus is the Truth

 In Islam,

Allah is considered Al-Haqq (The Ultimate Truth, The Reality, or The Absolute). This name signifies that Allah is the only true existence, the antithesis of falsehood, and the source of all righteousness, justice, and reality. Everything He says, promises, and does is true, and He is the only One worthy of worship.

Core Meanings of Allah as "The Truth" (Al-Haqq):
  • Absolute Reality: Allah is the only reality that is unchanging, enduring, and existent. All other things are creations and fleeting, while He remains.
  • The Source of Truth: All truth in the universe originates from Allah.
  • Antithesis of Falsehood: Quran 22:62 highlights that "Allah is the Truth, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood".
  • True Words and Promises: His words (the Quran), His promise of paradise and hell, and the Day of Judgment are absolute, established facts.
Implications of this Belief:
  • Worship and Submission: Since Allah is the only true reality, He is the only one worthy of worship.
  • Living by Principles: Believers are expected to live by truth, embodying sincerity and avoiding falsehood, as Allah is the Ultimate Truth.
  • Trust and Peace: Recognizing Allah as Al-Haqq helps remove fear of the future or anxiety over sustenance, as one relies on the only permanent, reliable existence.
  • Understanding Life: Life is seen as a fleeting, temporary, or deceptive period, while the afterlife and the meeting with Allah are the ultimate, lasting truths.
Understanding Allah as Al-Haqq is a foundational aspect of Islamic faith, emphasizing that everything in life should be evaluated against the truth that He brings.
