BIBLE 13-08-25

 Dear Themostprivileged.

Psalm 46

1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth give way, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 
3 Though its waters roar and foam, and though the mountains quake with the swelling thereof. 
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. 
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God shall help her, and early in the morning. 
6 The nations rage, the kingdoms tremble; God utters his voice, and the earth melts. 
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. 
8 Come, see the works of the LORD, the desolations he has made on the earth. 
9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear in pieces; he burns the chariot with fire. 
10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. 
11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.
