Born in Sin

Logically, there is an inherent self-contradiction in that complaint. Besides, it is irrelevant. God is entirely justified in holding his creations accountable. We should recognize the benefits of existence with as much clarity as the difficulties.

“Asking to exist” is a contradiction in terms. If someone “asks,” that thing exists already. If it does not exist, it can neither accept or dispute being created. In the strictest logical terms, saying, “I did not ask to be born” is either irrational or obvious, but in any case meaningless. When we are conceived, we come to exist as living souls—there is no one to ask prior to that. The reality is that whether or not one is happy about existing, he still exists. What a person chooses to do with his existence is all that matters.

God has given you the gift of life and the potential for eternal happiness. Stop focusing on what has happened and start thinking about what could happen. You have choices and can plan for a better future. God can help you. Don’t prioritize being rich. That is no guarantee of happiness. Proverbs says it is better to live in a tumbledown shack than in a mansion with strife.
