End times

 Joel 2:31 predicts, “The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood before the great and awesome day of the lord comes.


Is this to be taken literally? Not necessarily. As with much prophetic prophecy, it could be the language of appearance and not technical.

When will these end events take 


Matthew 24:36. However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.
