 Hi Dini,


You have been living under what the world calls pleasure and success, but now you see what real pleasure and joy is: the peace of a right relationship with God, the joy of a Savior to guide you through tough situations, his unfailing love no matter what. You see that success is more than just having a lot of stuff or impressing others with how smart you are. God wants to fill your life with meaning and purpose in his kingdom. Follow this new path and although there will be problems and trials, you will find that some of this old “baggage” will drop away.

Romans 12:1,2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.


A living sacrifice means to choose God’s way rather than your way. Transformed means that God will help you grow to be like Jesus. As you do these things you will see that God and God’s will is good and pleasing to you because it is perfect.
