God speaks to us through the Bible. That’s why it’s important to read it over and over. We can’t contain all the truth in one sitting, so frequent reading gives us new insights. I am glad you are returning to reading it.
God works in people who are listening and obedient. If we argue and argue, God just steps back and lets us talk without doing much. He does not have to explain. He tells us just to trust that he is right.
God does not love rich people more than others. Money is not a measure of his love. In fact, he told his disciples that a camel could go through the eye of a needle easier than a rich person go to heaven. Have you seen any camels walking through needles lately? The rich person’s problem is that he trusts in himself; his faith in himself tells him he can do anything. A true Christian understands he doesn’t get things right and needs the Lord.
