Hi Dini,
To begin to sort out your questions and confusing teaching, let’s begin with the foundational truth: God’s Word. It is the way God has chosen to reveal himself to us. The Bible is true, all of it.
2Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2Peter 1:21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is the primary way God speaks to us. Most of his will for us is written in the Bible.
John 17:17 Sanctify (set them apart) them by the truth; your Word is truth.
Psalm 119:105 Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Read a chapter of the Bible and ask God to speak to you from it. You may see a truth that you never realized before or verses that provide insight or guidance for a situation you are facing.
God may use circumstances. 2Corinthians 2:12 Now when I went to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and found that the Lord had opened a door for me….
God may use the prompting of the Spirit. Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. God has given us many commands in Scripture. Choose to obey those, not other temptations.
God may use wise counsel. Proverbs 12:15 The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.
Any advise must be checked against the Bible. God will never tell you to do anything different from what is in his Word.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
