You make many important and true statements about the greatness of God and our need to repent and come to him. I have some comments on other questions you seem to have.
Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14) in order to make himself and his lies appealing. How can we make sure we are on the right path? Psalm 119 says, “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Truth is revealed inScripture. In Revelation we discover that Satan is defeated by Jesus and thrown into the lake of fire.
Who sends people to hell? The Bible says that Gods not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God does not willingly send anyone to hell. He makes everyone an incredible offer of salvation. Each person can choose for himself: heaven or hell.
Related to that, God does not beg. He offers. He wants you to choose him, but it’s your choice.
The comments about virgins and underpants are inappropriate and should not be part of a Christian conversation.
Revelation 14:10-11 says, “they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury , which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulphur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and it’s image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” I think once you take the mark of the beast you have chosen sides.
A proud person has a fatal flaw. Psalm 10:4 “in his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.” A proud person can repent, however.
John MacArthur is a very straight laced person who sees much of life in black and white terms. He is a devout Christian who has many good points, but like you there are things he says that I don’t agree with.
Tongues are or were a gift from God to help win others to Christ. Look at Peter’s speech and the resulting of people speaking in tongues in the early chapters of Acts. Tongues are not for show.
The Bible in many places urges praying in the Spirit, that is praying in God’s will or by the leading of the Spirit—that is, there is something on your mind that you feel a need to pray for. It is not tongues.
In ancient times people expressed sorrow in different ways from what we do today. These practices are interesting, but not necessary.
