Doubts and Pride

Yes. In our human weakness we doubt sometimes. Others refuse to consider him as Savior because they, in their pride, are convinced they don’t need a Savior. A true reading of the Bible will never let them believe this lie.

God is the judge of who goes to heaven or hell. We do not know all the truth about any other person. He is always fair and righteous. We may, indeed, be surprised at who is or is not in heaven. We just need to make sure that we are committed to Jesus so we will be there.

Early English versions of the Bible said “creature”. They meant people. Later versions translated it “creation.” Again, they meant people. 

God loves each of us unconditionally. He does not always love what we do. In fact he hates sin. Sometimes trials are sent to test or strengthen us. James said to count it all joy when trials come, (really?) because they will strengthen us. The important thing is to draw close to God when things are tough.
