Temptations and Obedience
James says that God never tempts anyone to sin. The devil tempts, but it is our own evil desires that make us fall into sin.
Yes, Christians in different parts of the world emphasize different things. The details of Christianity can vary: can women preach? Do you have church once a week? Twice a week? 3 times? These differences are all ok as long as the basic truth is that we are saved by Jesus plus nothing. I think the best plan is to stay close to the Bible by reading it every day. And let us remember that God values obedience very highly.
