The Hard to Understanding Part

 Here is what we know. God is good, omnipotent and all knowing. We are not. He understands the world in a much more complex way than we ever could.  All people have sinned. Some realize that, some don’t. Every person deserves hell because they have not known or worshipped the one true God. But God, because of his love for us, made a way for his Son, the perfect God man, to pay for our sins. Those who accept that payment are forgiven. The rest are not. It is hard to understand that someone who has lived an evil life can be forgiven. They must repent and change their ways. But that is the offer God has made. It is his right to do that. Failure to repent brings awful eternal punishment. That is also right.
