Life is unfair
From the beginning man has chosen to do sinful things to advantage himself at the expense of others. Think of Cain and Abel. That is why God, out of love for us, chose to send his Son to pay the penalty for this sin. I think we have to accept that this is the way the world is and be grateful that God wanted to do something about it. He gives us the opportunity to choose right living and blessing while those who don’t care about him await eternal punishment of an intensity they cannot imagine.
No, life is most definitely not fair. But God can give us peace and joy in the middle of this unfairness. It is a delusion to imagine that people of great wealth are happier than we are. Everyone on earth has problems—they are just different problems.
