Relationship with Jesus

 First, we commit ourselves to him, even though there is much we don’t understand or know about him. We trust that he is God who is all good and righteous and will do what he says he will do.

Second, we need to communicate with him, to get to know him. This means reading the Bible, not just for the storyline, but for the meaning behind it. Ask first, what did this mean to the people to whom it was written. Then ask, what does it mean to me?

Be sure to begin prayer with praise ant not just a list of things you want. Good examples of praise are found in Psalms 145 and 150.

Listen for the Holy Spirit’s prompting in your mind.if you ask, God will guide you in this way.
